Welcome to The Business Social & Gascoyne Connect—your dedicated small business mentorship platform based right here in Western Australia. We’re passionate about empowering regional and remote businesses through practical online tools, tailored resources, mentorship, social wellbeing initiatives, advisory services, hands-on workshops, and interactive webinars.

 

Many of you may already know us as the “Two T’s,” but if you’re new to our community, we’re two Midwest-born and bred women who are as enthusiastic about small business as you are. Not only do we actively run our own small businesses, but we also bring a wealth of experience from our roles as small business advisors for the Small Business Development Commission, leaders of the Grow Local Campaign for the Carnarvon Chamber of Commerce, and Community Development Officers for the Shire of Chapman Valley.

 

Our expertise spans hospitality, sales and marketing, finance, business metrics, tourism, e-commerce, and project management—just to name a few! This hands-on experience means we truly understand the unique challenges and incredible opportunities faced by regional and remote business owners. We know what it’s like to deal with isolation, limited resources, and the constant need to adapt. And when we encounter something new? We rise to the challenge, always eager to learn and find solutions.

 

What sets us apart is simple: we are a small business for small businesses, run by two passionate and dedicated women who genuinely care about your success.

Co-Founder and Business Mentor

I’m Teagan, one half of the dynamic duo that brought you the culinary stylings of Burnt Barrel! 

 

I am a Gero native, leaving our little coastal community at 17 to head to the big smoke and complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, majoring in Business Law and Marketing Management.

 

I am deeply passionate about the hospitality and retail industry. With a career spanning over 2 decades, including some incredible highs, and devastating lows, making me confident that I can handle whatever crazy you throw at me, both on a Business or Personal level!

 

So, my specialty? I am confident in assisting with all aspects of business management. But as for my favourites:

Hi, I’m Teegan! For almost 20 years, I’ve been a familiar face in Geraldton's business community.

 

As the owner of SkyBox Studio, a premier health and wellness hub, I’ve dedicated my career to transformation and community well-being. 
 
I’ve faced the highs and lows of business ownership, from navigating COVID lockdowns to overcoming cyclone disasters. Through it all, I’ve stayed at the forefront by engaging with international business communities, anticipating trends, and adapting to global patterns. 
 
My passion lies in coaching and helping other small businesses thrive. I specialise in:
