Two women. Two decades of regional business experience. One community built from scratch - because nothing like it existed.
Who we are
We're Teegan and Teagan - the Two T's - and between us we've started, scaled, survived and sometimes walked away from more businesses than we can count on one hand.
We've been in the room with international mentors. We've worked as small business advisors for the Small Business Development Commission. We've also sat at our kitchen tables at 11pm wondering if we were doing the right thing.
We're Midwest-born and Geraldton-based. We know what it's like to build something in a regional town - the isolation, the limited networks, the "just figure it out yourself" reality of running a small business far from the city.
"We didn't build The Business Social because we had it all figured out.
We built it because we'd both felt exactly what it felt like to not have the right support around us - and we refused to let other women feel that way too."

Teagan

The one with the spreadsheets, the sharp eye for numbers, and the uncanny ability to look at your business and immediately spot what's not working.
Geraldton-born and Commerce-degree educated (Business Law + Marketing Management), Teagan left at 17, did the big-city thing, and came back with two decades of hard-won experience across hospitality, retail, finance and marketing - including building Burnt Barrel from the ground up.
She's seen the incredible highs and the gut-punch lows. She's worked as a small business advisor for the Small Business Development Commission, led the Grow Local Campaign for the Carnarvon Chamber of Commerce, and served as a Community Development Officer for the Shire of Chapman Valley. She knows what it takes to build something real in the regions - and she knows how to help you do the same.

Nearly 20 years as a familiar face in Geraldton's business community. She's run six businesses across brick-and-mortar, online, service-based and community spaces - including a seven-figure business she built while raising her kids. She's navigated COVID shutdowns, cyclones, economic rollercoasters, team scaling, marriage breakdown, and full rebuilds. She's not just survived it all. She's built a framework out of it.
She's sat in international mentorship rooms. She's worked in corporate as a small business advisor. And now she brings all of it - the strategy, the scars and the hard-won wisdom - to the women of regional WA.
